Welcome! Thank you for coming to our Website.

What we offer to all residents in the Parish of the Ascension is:

Christian worship and the continuity of Christian teaching in Cambridge over almost 1,100 years (at St. Peter’s Church and St. Giles’ Church)

People and buildings to support all the shared activities essential to a lively community

A place for help and advice and comfort for all our Parishioners, whether churchgoers or not.

We aim to be an inclusive community, proclaiming Christ’s gospel of love.

We welcome, without exception, all who want to explore the possibility of faith in their lives.

Our Ministry team and our church members include people from the Church of England, United Reformed and Methodist traditions.

We see our church buildings as a resource for the whole community – as places both of worship and prayer for everyone, and for community activities and gatherings.

As a group of Christians, we affirm our strong commitment to working with people of other denominations and those of other world faiths.
