Miss Helen Cunnington

Helen Cunnington was born, raised and attended school in Cambridge. From early childhood she was a member of St. Augustine’s Church, only leaving for her training as a teacher specialising in early years education. She taught in various Cambridgeshire schools, ending her career as headteacher at Linton C.E. (A) Infants’ School. Since retiring she has continued to work with children within the parish both on Sundays and during the weekly activities such as Little Acorns, and as a church nominated governor at St. Luke’s C.E. (A) Primary School, where she meets the children regularly. In 2005/6 she trained as an Authorised Lay Minister for children’s ministry. She enjoys travelling near and far, reading, classical music, swimming and gardening.
