St. Giles' Church

Community activities at St. Giles’ Church take place on a more ‘ad hoc’ basis. There are free, Tuesday afternoon concerts and seasonal tea parties from time to time; these are always followed by a 'St Giles' tea', a proper afternoon tea with little sandwiches and cakes, for which a donation is requested. These and other events such as the monthly Bake Sale and Coffee Morning on the 2nd Saturday of each month are advertised by posters around the Castle Street area, flyers available in the church and on the website. St. Giles’ is also a venue for concerts and recitals – again, these are advertised in advance.
