By popular request, to cheer up the dark winter Saturday evenings, St Luke’s are holding a short series of travel talks with themed suppers. Come and be transported around the world and sample the culinary delights of the country you visit.
This second talk will take you to Brazil. The Gibbs family will be guiding you around Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, Salvador de Bahia and the Amazon.
At 7.00 pm we will be serving a themed hot supper, which will be a Brazilian meat stew with rice called feijoada. Our usual variety of puddings will be available and coffee and tea will be served. Soft drinks are included but you are welcome to bring along any alcoholic drink that you would like to have with supper.
