Silver Surfers' Day 2009 - computer training taster event

Silver Surfers' Day 2009 is Britain's biggest annual campaign to help older people get online. Cambridge Online are offering their technical expertise during this one day taster session. The tutors will be on site all day in St. Giles' Church, giving demonstrations and support, answering questions and giving you the opportunity for hands-on experience with computers, all free of charge. You can also find out about the FREE training courses that they run locally - we are hoping to offer one at St. Luke's Church soon.

No booking is necessary - just come along on the day to find out what is on offer. Older learners are particularly welcome no matter what their skill level. You can find out more about the initiative here
