To coincide with the reopening of Kettle's Yard, the Friends of St. Giles' Church are displaying rarely exhibited liturgical objects and vestments from St. Giles' Treasury. This will be for one afternoon only. We are delighted to be sponsored by Watts and Co, the world's foremost purveyor of fine ecclesiastical designs, textiles, furnishings and accessories. (They have provided vestments for the last five coronations.)

'I Wonder...' Story-telling Workshop for children

We are delighted to invite you to another 'I wonder ...' story telling session at Castle Street Methodist Church on the theme of Easter. As usual, we will share a story and then there will be time and space for children to respond by talking, making and playing. There will be two groups running simultaneously, for 3-5 year old and 6-10 year old. Registration will be from 10.15am and story telling will start at 10.30am.

Easter Monday Egg Hunt

Come and Sing - Haydn's 'Nelson Mass'

All singers are welcome to come for this day of singing, which will be rehearsed and conducted by Tim Brown. You can obtain a booking form online or by email. The cost is £15 (£5 students). Score copies will be available on the day.

Saturday Night Travel Talk & Supper - Spitsbergen

Your Cambridge Heritage: A Thousand Years in the life of Cambridge Castle

Alison Taylor was County Archaeologist for 21 years and has been Editor and President of Cambridge Antiquarian Society. Publications include archaeological studies of villages in South Cambridgeshire and Cambridge: the Hidden History. Her talk will look at the strategies behind the development of Cambridge Castle, the roles it played in local and national defence, and its long civilian life.

Ajax Quartet Recital

Founded in 2016 at the University of Colorado, the Ajax Quartet is an emerging string quartet comprised of violinists Tom Yaron and Renee Hemsing Patten, violist Mario Rivera, and cellist Eric Haugen. In this recital they are joined by Emil Duncumb, Piano. Currently, they are the graduate quartet-in-residence at the University of Colorado. Tour highlights from the 2017-18 season include a tour to the United Kingdom with engagements in London, Cambridge, and Oxford.
