Miss Margaret Cooper

I was born in the village of Newton, Cambridgeshire and apart from two short spells in London have always lived in or near Cambridge. As a child I attended the tiny village school (only 18 pupils) until passing the 11 plus and then attending the County High School in Long Road. While in the village I developed a close link with the church - bell-ringing, playing the organ and teaching in Sunday School, becoming a member of the PCC at the age of 18.
