This monthly working party meets at the Burial Ground (off Huntingdon Road) to clear graves, working under the guidance of Rod Ailes. Please bring gloves (if you have them) and stout shoes are essential, secateurs, loppers and any garden waste sacks very desirable if you have them. It can also be thirsty work, so do bring a drink as well.

Community Sunday Lunch Club

Christmas Tree Festival

St. Giles' will be open every day for ten days, to welcome visitors to our 8th Festival. Entry is free. This is Cambridge's original Christmas Tree Festival and we hope to welcome many visitors as we have in previous years, to enjoy the beautifully decorated trees and homemade, seasonal refreshments and light lunches.

Opening of the Christmas Tree Festival

Location: 
St. Giles' Church, Castle St., Cambridge CB3 0AQ

This year the festival will be opened by Mr David Goode FRSA, Deputy Senior Proctor of the University of Cambridge. He will be met at the church gates by the Church Wardens, who will lead him into church, where the lights will be switched on, and all can enjoy mince pies, mulled wine and music by the Quadriga Quartet.

Thereafter the church will be open daily to welcome visitors, from 10 am to 4 pm, until Sunday 4 December. Free entry, refreshments available.
