Come and make your own Christingle, and join in a short service for all ages. Refreshments will be served after the service.
These new two-hour long workshop sessions will be held on the 4th Saturday of the month between 10 am and 12 noon, and led by Margaret Waring (Textiles Society and Embroiderers' Guild). In general all materials for the session will be provided. Participants will be invited to make a donation (£15) to the Friends of St. Giles' Church.
Come and make your own natural wreath from willow under the guidance of Ali Finn. Bring favourite ornaments for decoration, or buy some of those available there. Bring secateurs and scissors if possible, though some pairs will be available. The charge for a basic wreath with natural plant additions and one ribbon, is only £5.
All are welcome to come early to St. Augustine's, for a breakfast with hot drinks, cereals, pastries, and good company. Breakfasts will be served during the four Sundays in Advent.

Come and enjoy fun and games, music, refreshments and a visit from Father Christmas.
A reflective candlelit service with choir, followed by a tea party. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy this peaceful service in preparation for the Christmas period, in a beautifully decorated church, glowing with real Christmas trees.
We will meet at 6.00 pm outside the Traveller's Rest pub on Huntingdon Road, and sing around the houses on King's Court opposite and theen make our way to Eddington, where we will finish with more singing, mince pies and mulled drinks.
