About Church at Castle

We are a family of Community-serving Churches:
- Two Anglican (Church of England) churches making up the Parish of the Ascension; St Augustine of Canterbury in Richmond Road and St Giles’ w St Peter’s in Castle Street
- An ecumenical partnership of the United Reformed Church and Church of England at St Luke’s, Victoria Road
- Castle Street Methodist Church
- St Giles’ church building is shared with the Romanian Orthodox parish of St John the Evangelist
As a group of Christians, we affirm our strong commitment to working with people of other denominations and those of other world faiths.
Our church centres are based around Castle Hill and serve the residents of Castle Ward and part of Arbury Ward, and include new developments at Eddington and Darwin Green sites. You can find out if you live within the parish from a list of streets here, or on the A Church Near You website.
