St Luke’s 150th Anniversary Service

The Parish of the Ascension joins together with the School and community to celebrate 150 years of the church’s presence in Victoria Road. Bishop Dagmar will preside at the Communion, Canon Jonathan Young (first Team Rector of the Parish of the Ascension) will preach and Revd Dr David Thompson will be the official representative of the Eastern Synod of the URC.

This is Bishop Dagmar’s first visit to the Parish so we look forward to welcoming her. During the service our new banner now being made by church members to mark this 150th Anniversary will be dedicated by Bishop Dagmar. All are most welcome.
